Sydney, Australia. Blue skies lit up this energetic city as we walked around various neighborhoods over the course of five days. I really enjoyed this city. Like Toronto, this is a city people work, play, and even LIVE in!

Our posse enjoyed some great modern architecture with lots of color, creative graffiti, beautiful parks with massive trees, an impressive fish market, and of course ‘crucks’ in every direction (like an El Camino – part car, part truck). We even stopped for a quick surf session (Randy surfed and we took pictures) at Whale Beach, an hour north of the city.

I get it, Sydney.  You’re warm, beautiful, economically solid, and full of things to do. You just don’t have that character-building winter us Canadians so deeply depend on.

Hopefully I can return again in the coming years, alongside my family.
