>Last weekend I made a road-trip to Detroit with friends Drew and Dave to photograph the current state of this declining city. In it’s heyday there was 1.8 million people, now the population sits at half that. The vacancy is shocking, unemployment is around 30%, and opportunity in this city seems almost non-existant. Yet amongst all this devastation, we found some signs of hope through a really cool street art installation called the Heidelberg Project.
